Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

One of the best local eateries in the Margate/Coral Springs area. Food is consistently amazing and service is always on-point. Our last visit was a small (party of 4) birthday gathering for my life partner. After calling earlier in the day to make sure I wouldn't be breaking any restaurant rules, I was encouraged to bring along my partner's favorite dessert as part of her birthday surprise. I snuck in a Key Lime pie, and after another spectacular dinner a group of staff members brought the candle lit pie to our table as they all sang Happy Birthday. The pie was then carried back, sliced and served..."icing on the cake" topping off a really nice birthday celebration!! Wonderful management, smiling attentive wait staff, and fantastic food...what more could a hungry diner ask for?? If you haven't visited one of their many locations...try it, you'll love it!!

Just brought home a take out order from here and the food was excellent along with all the ladies who helped me place my order. I had ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a lasagna and both items were really good I am only a bit disappointed the the lasagna did not come with anything at all no salad no bread no garlic knots nothing. I will return perhaps for one of their lunch specials during the week.

This was my second visit and was not disappointed. This is what I had: * Pasta Fagioli soup. It was very tasteful but a bit too salty. Next time I order it, I will have it without the prosciutto ham. The very nice waitress who helped us, gave me the choice so next time I will definitely skip the ham. * Meat lovers pizza. My husband and I share the meat lover pizza. It was very tasteful and cooked to perfection. The pepperoni was great and we could not even finish it. Prices: Large meat lover pizza: $19.99 Soups: $7.00 Last but no least our waitress was very helpful and nice.
(4)Mark K.
Price is the only thing that keeps me from rating this a 5, and it's a tough call. We've only really had their pizza, and they have a lot more to offer, but based just on the pizza I can easily give it a 4 star rating. It's a popular spot, it can be a little busy, but that's a good sign. The pizzas are quite good, if a lot more expensive than you standard delivery places. But you certainly get what you pay for here.
(4)Jennifer T.
This hidden gem amongst the plazas in Coral Springs is a great locale for pizza, pasta, and the like. Reasonably priced with friendly staff. The only reason they don't have 5 stars is that there is pork in the meat sekections, and service can be a bit slow. Having said that, if I lived closer I would go all the time.
(4)John H.
Good local spot for coal fired pizza. I usually go with the captain, it has pepperoni, sausage and meatballs. The girlfriend goes with the boss, a margarita pizza. The Tuscan fries are a must have! We get them every time!
(4)Paul P.
Just had dinner there. Pizza was very good and the meatballs were excellent. The eggplant stack was fantastic as well. Great atmosphere and our server was very well informed about the menu and shared information with us about their existing locations and a new one opening in Fort Lauderdale. Keep up the good work
(5)Vicki O.
My fiancé and I love this place. The service is always amazing and the food is great. We usually get the Sicilian salad, which is very tasty and you can tell it is freshly made. The pizza sometimes takes a little long, but it's worth the wait! The dinner portions are humongous, definitely enough for sharing! I wish they delivered, but we will have to settle for using delivery dudes, I guess!
(4)Danielle J.
Saw this place in the top 10 pizza places in broward/palm beach. They are not kidding. We started here since it was listed #1 on the list. I had a small "The Captain". It was so amazing. Sausage, meatballs and pepperoni. I can't believe I have never been here. I cannot wait to go back! And we totally will.
(5)Carlos J.
Pretty good spot to come out for lunch and get you grub on well pizza for most part. Usually I'll get a buffalo chicken or a pepperoni slice which are always good. This time around I ended up getting the spaghetti and meatball and I was not pleased the spaghetti was was drenched with sauce that had a plain taste to it and two meatballs that was just terrible that a can of chef boyarde would have been better. If you thinking of stopping here and not getting pizza just keep going this isn't the spot for you but if you are looking for it make the detour.
(2)Dusty F.
Love this place lol
(5)Michelle F.
Great food and friendly staff. The Stack of Sicily appetizer is delicious and their pizzas are amazing. If you're a chicken wing fan, you have to try the appetizer, you won't be disappointed. They're a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.
(4)Shan D.
We love the food here. It is the best coal fired pizza place we have found locally. Fresh ingredients, very tasty pizza. Only downside is the size. While we prefer the taste here, we often go to Scarfone's instead because the taste is comparable and the portions are larger. Tip: try The Captain. You won't regret it.

Well I said I would order some take out pizza after my last non food yet service/holiday problem in the restaurant. So --shut my mouth seriously. Ordered online, order paid online, drive up to carry out and you dont have to get out of your car. Love it to not deal with human bull s at times. I ordered at 6:28 on a Friday night with an expected 20 minute ready time. Pizza ready and hot for me at curb sude by 6:45. Seriously and wow. Service city. OMG they got the orders right and amazingly deliciously. This set me back $42 for 2 large gourmet pizzas at PERFECTION standards...but I have paid the same for Papa Johns for something so disgusting. My kids gone nuts for this fresh delicious pizza. Heck yes. Worth it for a splurge. Happy weekend.
(5)Adam R.
We went there on a Friday evening on the recommendation of a friend. The place was busy and everyone was hovering around the entrance door and standing next to table with customers eating (if I had one of the tables where people were standing over me I would not care for that) - they had no control over the people waiting. We ordered the oven cooked wings as a starter with their house salad. The wings has zero taste - it was like they took them and threw them in the oven and the served them. No sauce, no seasonings no nothing. The salad was actually ok, but it was drenched in dressing and the leaves of the salad were a bit wilted. We also ordered the eggplant parm - it looked like it was thrown on the plate (sauce all over the plate). I took 2 bites and it had also NO taste. I tried to put salt (which I do not normally use) and pepper on it - but that did not help. I sent it back and the manager gave me a nasty look when I told him. We then ordered a pizza - it was ok, nothing too special - but was burnt and a bit greasy (see pictures). Took 2 slices home, but did not eat them. The restroom was not attended to and as you walked through the restaurant the floor was a bit sticky. I shall not return. Just because it is busy does not equate to good -

The 2nd best pizza in South Florida as far as I'm concerned. They use extremely fresh ingredients & their pizza tastes superb. You got to try this place. Great rice balls also. They are enormous.
(5)Marietta R.
Delicious food! Fast and friendly service. Also inexpensive. I love that its almost in my backyard. :) Coral Springs #1.
(5)Patricia C.
love the salads and the STACK wow ! service is awesome! I should have come with my son tonight got a lame side dish full of grease from Joes pizza !!! and been going to you guys since the opening and never a complain high standards!
(5)Cheryl K.
Been dying to try this place but really, not worth it. The food was ok but they have weird "rules" such as - no dinner comes with pasta - that's $6.00 extra. SIX DOLLARS on a $14 dinner? Really? Oh, they have chicken picatta on the lunch menu but not on the dinner menu - they don't make that for dinner. But since the restaurant was empty - and I mean EMPTY - the server asked and they agreed to make it. I had a shrimp dish which was like shrimp oreganata but it was served in the shell - that was weird to me. It was actually very tasty and would recommend this. Problem is they serve it with two bruschettas that were SO MUSHY that I pushed them to the side and ate some of my sisters $6.00 side dish pasta. The pizza, made in a wood burning oven, was very well done as was the bread on my hubbys sandwich (it was burnt). Their garlic bread that's not garlic bread is not worth it - it tasted like thick slices of white bread toasted in the oven with garlic powder and butter topped with grated cheese. The skinny sausage with peppers and onions was also very tasty. Service was good. Oh well, still looking for good Italian food in South Florida - very few and far between...
(2)Elyssa S.
Start off with the crostinis they are delicious! I usually get the chicken reggiano pizza but I've also had meatball and a few others. Pizzas a consistently very good.
(4)Stephanie M.
I called to order a pizza. I ordered a pizza with half pepperoni and sausage. The girl repeated back to me a large pizza with pepperoni and sausage. I replied no. A large with half pepperoni and sausage. We arrived home to discover the pizza was wrong. I called to explain. The girl ( the same girl) said you never told us half. I replied yes I did, in fact I said it twice. She immediately put me on hold. The manager came on, and said will be happy to make you a new pizza. The issue was the immediate accusation that I referred the wrong pizza. To add insult to injury, the pizza was awful. We expected the rim of crust to be "well done" (burned) but the bottom of the entire pie was burned black. It was tough and tasted like charcoal. Do not eat here. Customer service is awful and food was substandard.
(1)Andi S.
The food quality is great, but it is a little too pricey. Unfortunately that will make me almost always choose Anthony's instead.
(4)Amy R.
I love this place because it is laid back and kind of like an old school pizza parlor. There are TVs at the bar and the pizza is my favorite style: thin crust brick over margarita - yum yum. My in-laws are regulars here and they order the Sicilian Salad to start (delicious blend of romaine, olives, balsamic vin, gorgonzola, roasted peppers, and walnuts) It's like my favorite salad in all of Florida. Then the pizza we get is phenomonal- a margarita pizza with extra wilted arugula all over it- the best topping!!! The eggplant parm was delicious too. Service was fine- young waitresses college aged and bartender who knows her stuff. Definitely a fun family environment and wish there was one in NYC.
(4)Omar P.
Their boss pizza is outstanding. The crust is thin and crispy, with olive oil. The cheese is fresh, basil and sauce. Love!
(5)Johnny R.
Been coming here for three years, never a bad meal. From penne vodka, Sicilian salad, rice balls, pizza, soups. All delicious! Servers are great and wonderful atmosphere.
(5)Zoila W.
Great place. Would definitely come back for sure. Our server was Amy- she was super helpful as it was our first time there. We just decided to try a new place and saw this place listed with great ratings so we went for it! So glad we did. We ordered the house salad- I believe it was called the Sicillian Salad or something like that. SO GOOD! And then we ordered a half "the Captain" & half "Queen and of Sicily". Good gracious, their pizzas are amazing! I can't believe I haven't been here before. The only slight criticism is it can get a little loud; the have music playing overhead, tvs at low volume & the smaller space can make for above average noise volume. Still, this place is so good it's worth it :)
(4)Chuck B.
Tonight was the first time we ordered takeout from Sicilian Oven . . and the last time we will ever eat there!!! After picking up a Queen of Sicily pizza, their special, we arrived home. My wife opened the box and i could not believe what I was looking at. The crust was black, not well done, burnt throughout. Immediately called the restaurant and was told that their pizzas are well done, etc. I responded that I had been there many times and that this pizza should never have been sold to anyone. it should have been deposited into the garbage. Although I am not very good at computer skills, I will try to add a couple pictures because they suck. The manager told us to stop by the next time we are in. Sorry, there won't be a next time. I still cannot believe that they sold it to us, and having done that, that no refund offer was offered. So, this is what they get! And we were good customers!
(1)Angie L.
Our son brought home left overs from his dinner out this weekend. He had the Shrimp Palermo Pasta. We had only a few bites of what was left of the pasta and couldn't believe how delicious it was!! We are huge Shrimp Pasta fans and are always looking for a place that has a good one. We are dying to go there now and taste the whole thing. Our son said the shrimp was breaded and SO good. We'll update the review after getting to taste more of it.
(5)Lynnzy L.
I like this place, especially for lunch. Have had the salads and the pizzas. Big fan of the coal fired pizza taste. Also if you are hungry for something different - try the fuggedaboutit sandwich. Really tasty with eggplant, tomato, fresh basil and served on a really nice roll. I've heard the soups are outrageously good, will be trying that next.
(4)Maureen S.
One of my favorite restaurants in Coral Springs. Servers are friendly and very attentive. Two that I remember are Katie and Matt. Stack of siciliy and sicilian salad are my two favorites but love all the pizza's. Go there you wont be disappointed.
(5)M G.
We recently visited this restaurant, for the first time, due to a a bad experience at Nonna's, just across the street. We were very pleasantly surprised, and will be back. This is an italian restaurant, pizza oriented but not pizza dominated, with many well prepared options and a welcoming staff. I suggest trying the excellent salad, served family style, and the wings (which are baked in the the wood fire oven are very different from what you are used to; we shared 10 wings and everyone thought they were very good, and different). The broccoli rabe, with sausage and no pasta, was the best broccoli rabe (an acquired taste) I have ever had. Others tried the specialty pizzas and pasta entrees and were very impressed. The price point is good and the atmosphere is upbeat and cozy. All in all, I'm sorry I didn't try this restaurant sooner.
(5)Len M.
My wife and I jumped on the daily deal for a discount, and we were not disappointed. We sat at an outside table on the Friday night Memorial Day weekend. I ordered the Chicken Reggiano pizza and it was fired to perfection. My wife had the Panetta and it was big and tasty. The servers were very friendly and our waiter also brought out a free Peroni beer for me because our order was running late(!). The topper for dessert was the Tiramasu. Excellent! Oh did I mention that the prices were reasonable? One more thing: order the Sicilian Salad! To die for...
(5)Michelle A.
Enjoyed everything about our dinner at Sicilian Oven, the service, the food, the ambiance. I loved every minute of our evening. This is my at least 5th time there and can't say I have ever had a bad meal. Thanks again for a fine night of dining.
(5)Jeremy D.
Best " gourmet" pizza place around. Forget the other coal oven places in the area and opt for Sicilian's wood burning oven. Apparently, it cooks at a lower temperature than the coal counterparts. The result is a perfectly cooked crust and toppings every time. "The Boss" is what pizza should be. Their version of caprese or margherita, it is fresh simple ingredients, perfectly balanced. Honestly, the best pizza I've ever eaten. The "bianco", or white pizza, rocks. Usually not a fan of white pizzas, but add prosciutto to this pie and the result is a salty, creamy, cheesey masterpiece. The meatball appetizer is out if this world. Huge meatballs that have a perfect blend of meats that combine for a perfect texture and taste. Accompanied by a dollop of fresh ricotta and a pesto (basil I think), I could make a meal out of these alone. Bottom line: this place has great food. Eat it. Oh yeah: curbside pick up a bonus.
(5)Scott B.
Outstanding! Very similar to an Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza however they have other Italian favorites too! The mussels were good, the rice balls were very good too! Pizza and salad salad were both exceptional as well! Stop in...you won't be disappointed.
(5)Edward W.
Nice restaurant, nicely and casually appointed with TVs viewable from every seat. A real brick oven is visible in the open kitchen. The pizza... I see lots of stellar reviews for Sicilian Oven, and I can understand that reviews can use a local metric, comparing one local place against another. That's ok, and SO would definitely compare favorably against the local FL pizza places. In the bigger picture, however, it's not a 5 or even 4 star pizza. Pizza is all about the crust. Maybe it's the water. SO's crust is decent but doesn't compare to the best crusts in the country. A little burnt on the edges, appropriately so, but somehow lacking a certain je ne sais quoi. The cheese is the star on the pizza. Good quality in good proportions. The margherita uses standard tomatoes rather than Italian plums. Fresh basil finishes the pie off nicely. Now, I am not a hater. This is good pizza, much better than average. It is perhaps 4 to 4.5 stars in Coral Springs. But it is 3.75 stars in a larger national perspective. SO has a full bar, and is a great place to watch the game or to simply get a better pizza in Coral Springs.
(3)Larry W.
Excellent!!' My go to place for pizza. And, they have a drive through. Nice bar and good food.
(5)Lexie L.
This is our go-to place for comfy, traditional Italian fare. The menu items are consistently great tasting and presented in an attractive manner. The staff is sweet and caring, the atmosphere friendly and warm. Plus the kids never complain when we suggest going to Sicilain Oven, there are menu items that make everyone happy from the crispy thin crust pizza to perfectly cooked pasta dishes, it is all "perfecto"! My absolute favorite is the white bean and escarole soup, I crave it's comfort. Thank you Sicilian Oven for being our home town Italian place!
(4)Gabriel S.
Oh my god the food was very very good had the margarita and the chicken with pesto pizza and they were so good also had the escarole soup yes yes yes this is a must do p.s also had a salad for 3 and they use a house sauce that is really tasty
(5)Joe M.
Super Good Pizza! Great sauce, crispy but not breaky crust, yummy toppings. Combination worth writing home about. Had the chicken wings too, very good tossed in with sautéed onions. Lively atmosphere. Staff was VERY Welcoming and manager stopped by and thanked us for coming in. Very personable.
(4)Justine M.
Sicilian Oven ROCKS! The food is consistently great and the service and employees are really what make it special. The Sicilian Salad is a MUST have when you go and you can't go wrong with any of their pizzas. Paul, the manager, is awesome and is always busy making sure customers are taken care of and treated right. We always sit at the bar and have Amy as our server who is always on top of it and remembers how we like food. I can't say enough great things about Sicilian Oven. The coral springs location is our favorite because of Paul but the Lighthouse Point and Boca locations are good as well. If you love quality pizza and a great atmosphere, this is your place.
(5)Steve R.
Really use to be disalvos. Service was terrible pasta over cook No bread. The guy said we changed it around the decor. What you need change is the food and the owner. Not the decor. Don't recommend. Yuk.
(2)Daniel B.
Very busy place! We were offered a table outside or a wait. We chose outside. Better because the weather was nice and it was VERY noisy inside. We has one of their wood fired oven pizzas and a pasta dish, both to share for three people. The pizza was big enough and very tasty. I would suggest that the pasta dish was a bit small to share for three but it was also quite good. Not terribly expensive and the food was good. Worth a visit, for sure.
(3)Alok P.
I have been here several times and the food is great but I think the management is getting cocky. Part of why I loved this place was the excellent customer service but as of lately they don't seem to care anymore. I made a reservation for my family and friends to celebrate after my sisters graduation. I understand they don't take reservations but they do call aheads. To make sure my party would not have to wait I arrived 30 mins in advance. I Been waiting now for 1 hour and still no table. There are clearly enough open tables for my party of 10 but all the waiters/waitresses are busy texting their friends behind the bar. I don't think I will every come here again. There are plenty of great pizza places in Coral Springs and while the food may ok the service is beyond poor and very disrespectful.
(1)Sean W.
This one of my favorite Italian pizza place. I love the Mona Lisa. Also I love antipasti. Try out the Silica Stack it is an original.
(4)Danielle G.
Love this place. Food is fresh, friendly service only been there twice and they remembered us from first time. They care about quality of food they are putting out. Pizza are crispy, great sauces, nice atmosphere. Dawn and Paulie rock. Place was busy Monday night in August you know it's good.
(4)May L.
Our server was Nick and he was on the ball with everything. His energy, positive response to our requests and his timiliness with our food and drink was excellent! Everything was very good so we spoke to the manager, Paul, and told him how we enjoyed the meal and the service. We give 2 thumbs up for excellent service and food.
(5)Bella S.
From NY so I'm super picky with pizza. After searching for pizza in my neighborhood I settled on this little place and I'm glad I did! From the time I called and placed my order to the moment I picked up my individual pie...it was quick and amazing. The young lady taking my order was sweet and cool and when I got there the manager opened the door for me as he knew I was picking up. He said " so you're miss NY?" I hope you enjoy us as much as Grimaldi, we know you will!"....I laughed cuz Grimaldi is super well known in Brooklyn. My pizza was ready and after some small chat about where we were from in BK I was out the door. John was the most personable manager I've encountered here in my two months in FL and maybe ever! So I got home and sat down right away salivating and dying for a slice since it's been a while since I've had a good brick oven style pizza. It was so good that I was full but still wanted more! I will def be going back...they warned me I would! :)
(5)D M.
Fabulous pizza and sandwich! We had the Calabrese (delicious) and the meatball panetta (outstanding). The rice balls were also good. We tried this place for the first time tonight after reading the reviews here on Yelp. We plan to make this restaurant one of our weekly staples. Although we did take-out, the employees were still very friendly and efficient. We are very pleased to have found a good pizza place here in Coral Springs. Now if someone would just open a Pei Wei...
(5)Frank B.
The pizza is okay and service is below average since they have opened. They have a great "spicy" sauce for their calamari appetizer and I suggest that you get it on your pasta. Cheers!
(3)lee f.
First time there. Very clean. Very professional. Service was fantastic and the pizza was cooked perfectly. We were very happy and will definitely be back. Good job!!
(5)Cassie P.
Casual atmosphere with good pizza. Was delighted to find out they had gluten free pizza crust (but it's not on the menu so make sure to ask). I had the house salad and a margherita pizza on GF crust and everything was tasty. Service was very good as well. Great place for pizza or simple Italian dishes. If you're looking for a variety of Italian food in an upscale atmosphere, visit Tavolino Della Nonna across the street :)
(4)JohnMichael B.
RIP OFF!!! Since they have 2 more locations in Boca and Lighthouse Point, I believe whoever priced the menu here (Coral Springs) thought they were in Boca. For instance, $6 for a riceball... WTF? That's a fair price if the riceball were about the size of a Softball, but it's smaller than a baseball... What a joke. And NO, THEY HAVE NOT MASTERED THE COAL FIRED PIZZA. @Dennis F, goto "Anthony's" and then your statement will be null and void. At least at Anthony's you actually get a portion in relation to the price.
(1)Dennis F.
Sicilian Oven has mastered the "coal fired" pizza frenzy that has taken over the pizza game! Out of this world flavor from the tip of the slice to the crust! I love the rice balls and chicken wings well! The ambiance, decor and great service only add to the experience!
(5)Fred C.
Great take away Pizza and Pasta also very nice to eat them in . The Bolognese Sauce is as you can get anywhere Service very friendly and efficient Staff are always happy A feel good neighbourhood place Going to expand our ordering
(5)Rm B.
Had lunch here yesterday and returned again today. The meatball parm sandwich was great.
(5)MickeyBlue I.
A big fan of this restaurant, first time visiting this location. Our server was very friendly and professional, but the food wasn't what we're used to. I think we'll stick to our original location in Lighthouse Point.
(3)James N.
Had a small sausage, onion and basil pizza. Crust was really yummy. Actual pizza was great too. Probably would go without the onion next time but the sausage and basil were excellent. Small was perfectly enough for a mid-20s guy with a pretty decent appetite.
(4)Charles J.
Went there a while ago, very fresh food but my bar is set at NJ slight sweet red sauce taste rather than just a bland but fresh red. I had a cheese pizza before, I had their meat pizza last and was pretty good. I think their calamari is legit! I will try a pasta dish next time and see what happens!!
(4)Gil H.
I have been going to Sicilian Oven about once week for the last 3 years . It's about time that I leave a review. They have the best Pizza in south Florida! I would recommend the Boss, which has fresh mozzarella and basil. if you like meat on your Pizza order the Hitman or the Philly, I never had a bad pizza. You also have to try the eggplant reggiano, wings and subs. You cannot go wrong everything is good and the prices are reasonable.
(5)Patti D.
Tried this place for the first time. Looking forward to going again. There were too many great looking dishes on the menu. Great service too.
(4)Kerrie M.
I need to start with this... I have never eaten in the restaurant - I have only had takeout. I have ordered takeout from here several times and it has been consistently good. Should I ever have the opportunity to eat in, my review may change, even if slightly... That being said, I have never had anything from this place that I did not like. Their pizza is delicious, their wings are delicious, and the fried calamari is delicious. I like the drive-up pickup, since sometimes coming in is not convenient... I will be back, and hopefully I will someday eat in...
(4)B W.
The food is alright. Service was really good. Everything is a la cart - salad, bread, even side pasta. The multiple TV's on every wall are great if you're going to watch a game. Otherwise, they're an intrusion and distraction.
(3)Dante G.
Pizza over priced, Manager is terrible , partner Andrew needs a personality , they will never make it in Boca people will chew them up!!
(1)Keith B.
I'm a big fan of Sicilian Oven. Each time I go its consistently good and leaves me wanting to go back. We usually order the house salad which has a great dressing and a big cheese pizza. The pizza is wood fired, not coal fired..and i'm not a fan of coal fired pizza (think Anthony's) as it tastes just too burnt, i really love the wood fire pizza. Fresh mozzarella, basil and fresh sauce. My only gripe with this place is that they serve the pizza way too quick. Always when we go we have just started our salad and the pizza comes...makes you feel rushed. Wish they would space it a bit.

Great casual food with good service most if the time. Weekends is very busy. Like the whole wheat pizza with arugula and veggies. Their soup and salads are very good. Not your regular Italian menu. Don't look for veal parm! Try it it's very good. Their eggplant isn't deep fried and that's a favorite!!!

I've been to this place several times, but I must say I truly enjoy going there. The decor and atmosphere is nice its low lit to create an intimate environment. The establishment is not very big but it is very clean and casually classy. Very nice tables and chairs , nice tile beautiful bartop, and nice art on the walls to add tri the family vibe as well as the traditional Silician vibe. The decor is classy inviting and feels traditional. Though there is no need for a black tie, it has a family feel. The wait staff is always friendly from hostess to the staff busting tables. We had Natasha as our server and she was excellent. I like to dine out so I have been exposed to a wide spectrum of waiting service. She was great, knew the menu well, could describe the dishes, was engaginand very attentive. We ordered the calamari tossed in their firecracker sauce. It was delicious, hint of spicy but not overwhelming, crispy and not gummy. It offers something different than just marinara sauce. They have a wood oven and use dish that can showcase their use of it. They have a large pizza menu, large wine and beer menu and the beer is very cold. My girlfriend ordered the antipastos and the plating was very appealing to the eye but the dish was even more appealing to the palate. Very fresh olives and arugula, and the meats were also fresh and esquisite. I ordered the captain which was a pepperonni, sausage and meatball pizza. The cheese was great and the crust was crispy thanks to the wood oven. For desert we had the turtle chesscake which our server Natasha recommended and it was out of this world. Even my girlfriend which doesn't like cheesecake thought it was great. It was a different, they were light on the actual cheese part and heavier on the add ons and crust and the chocolate taste like flourless rich chocolate, it was a great way to end a great dinner. It was a great experience I had to write this place with others and I can't wait to go back with more friends and loved ones

Very nice atmosphere. Service is great. Food is tasty. Pizza is wood fired. Not our taste but still good. Parmesan fries are delish!

We always have a great experience at this restaurant. The pizza is fantastic and we love the Sicilian salad as a starter. The staff is extremely friendly and knowlegable about the menu. Highly recommended for a casual restaurant with great pizza and service.

Excellent place...excellent food. On my TOP 10 List of best pizza in the US and I have been coast to coast.

Their salad is the best thing on the menu, with the pasta broccoli rabe sausage dish a close second. Pizzas are great. Service is good. Their red sauce dishes are ordinary. Waits can be long, especially during season, and weekends. Friendly staff, average prices for area. Specials can be higher, so ask before ordering.

Highly recommended. Some of the best pizza in Coral Springs. The ingredients were fresh and absolutely delicious. Our waitress was nice too. We ordered the three meat pizza and we were not disappointed.

Feels like flavors are exploding on your mouth. Seems like every item was hand choosen to create the pizza for you. Loved it.

Had the Mona Lisa Pizza. It was pretty good but not all that flavorful in my opinion. I had to add cheese, salt, and red pepper flakes for taste but I really liked how they cooked it so the crust was super well done. Also it was pretty interesting how the ovens were viewable by the entire restaurant. Cozy & comfy little place. The service was good.

Went there after a friend recommended it, then checked out the reviews on yelp. I was not disappointed!! I wasn't sure at first...We walked in and were seated between a super loud family, and 2 other couples when half the restaurant was empty. The waitress was awesome...she was friendly, always smiling, knew the menu inside and out (i fell for the menu's suggestion and asked) what was in the stack, lasagna and salad and she listed all the ingredients and how it was prepared like she was the chef!! She definitely knew her stuff! My wife and I ordered the house salad which was tossed at the table (nice touch) and was delicious...it had walnuts and gorgonzola cheese with a very tasty dressing. I ordered a meatball which was served with a dollop of ricotta and topped with pesto. I also got the pasta-less chicken parm, my wife got the pasta-less Siciian lasagna and we split a small margarita pizza. I thought the food was anything but basic...their sharable entrees are interesting, the presentation is excellent, the food tasted great and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be back...if its as good as it was last night I'll change my review to 5 stars...

Great pizza! Crunchy crust which is a favorite thing of mine. Those crustini or 'original garlic rolls' weren't as good and the waiter forgot to bring them so we had an appetizer after our pizza...? Still.. will come back more often.

Service was great and food is delicious! I had a pizza, half "The Hit Man" and half Chicken Reggiano. It was hot and tasted fresh. Great place, must eat.

Went back and they had music on and the temperature inside the restaurant was a lot cooler. I ordered two pies to go and the pizza was pretty damn good. My server was Kathy again and she was awesome. What's fair is fair....5 Stars. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

We usually hit this place Friday nights after work & sit at the bar, It's good to check out what everyone is eating. After our first dinner we came back the next night. We are working our way through the menu. Everyone has a favorite pizza place, this is ours!
(5)James B.
Pretty decent food! The pizza was good although the sauce left a little to be desired. The crust was thin and crispy, just the way I like it! Their house salad with walnuts and balsamic dressing was very good - a little too much dressing - ask for it "on the side." I was expecting something very special with the french fries since they were $6 for an order - disappointing! Willing to try again, will just oder other things, like the meatballs, which looked tremendous!

Real Italian none of the Fru-Fru garbage at the 'upscale' modern places for outrageous prices. Quality is the name here : ingredients , wait staff and cooking. Some of the best dishes in South Florida, salad perfect balance, meatball better than Mom made, pizza the REAL deal fresh, crisp and authentic. This is the best place the owner cares Ralph runs a tight ship very competent and knowledgeable staff he should give lessons.

While my wife enjoys going to this restaurant for lunches, I have not been here in over a year. it will probably be another year before I go back. The restaurant is a stand alone building that has been renovated. I found it clean but dark. We ended up sitting at a high top and the light above our table was out. There are no complaints about the food. All food game to the table hot and it was exactly as expected. Very good. This restaurant falls short on service. Realizing it was Saturday night we expected to wait. When the hostess told us it was only a 10 minute wait we were happy. When we sat down 28 minutes later we we not so happy. We sat and waited at the table for service and eventually stopped the manger to get our servicer. When he arrived he was rushed, took our drink order and left. The drinks he brought to the table were not what we ordered. After taking our food order, he came back twice to verify what we ordered. There were no special requests, just straight from the menu. Our order came out plate by plate so the three of us shared what was brought to the table each time. In total we were at this "fancy pizzeria" for two and a half hours!

This restaurant lists that they deliver & we were traveling in the area & loved their website & the yelp reviews. When I called, they said they do NOT deliver and never had, the management denies knowing that it is listed incorrectly. That is inexcusable for a restaurant that considers themselves a quality operation. I can only hope that they clarify this for future clients. NOW, I'm updating this, because the other reviews of the food were so good, we sent someone down there to pick up it, even though they probably shouldn't have been driving. The Marg Pizza was very good, could've used a bit more pizaaz in the flavor dept, but once fixed by us, really great, yummy crust & good balance of cheese & fresh tomatoes. We also got one of their large italian salads that really hit the spot. So, I've upgraded my listing, but I do believe the company should be responsible for at least being accurate about their listing, they can fix it any time. Thanks to reviewer Lucas for pointing that out to me!!

I went for dinner last night and was impressed. Upon walking in the hostess smiled and welcomed me. The interior of the restaurant is very classy/romantic, full bar and low light. I ended up ordering The Boss pizza, delicious! Ended my meal with the homemade Tiramisu, loved it! Will be returning soon.

had dinner here last night with a group from work. there was a limited number of itmes that was cheese free. i ordered the grilled wings. some were burnt and bitter. i found the wings to be super salty. i prefer the wings from anthony's fire coal pizza.

I ordered the chicken parmigiana dinner which was very good. Four nice size pieces that were breaded and seasoned perfectly, served over al-dente pasta. Sauce was OK, it was a little more acidic than I like.. Also, got a side order of meatballs (2 nice size portions) that came in sauce with a scoop of ricotta and pesto on the side, very tender and tasty. Good place to watch the game as well, with many TVs surrounding the restaurant.

Everyone writes of the 'za, as star at this place, but let me point you in another direction as we have visited a few times for other foods, not the pizza. For something different, try the pasta-less lasagna. It is made from long thin and tender strips of eggplant, layered in between a spinach ricotta mixture, sprinkled with other vegetable bits. It is covered with mozzarella on top, browned to a golden hue, and surrounded by a bright tomato sauce, nicely textured and flavored with basil. It will delight most vegetarians. The meatball sandwich is sizable, and sure to please with a mound of sliced and halved balls of a delicate meat mixture, topped with cheese. It's light on the sauce. You can ask for more. Order the Sicilian salad with gorgonzola. The chicken wings could use more flavor, but it is a good size plate. The staff is young and friendly. If you are in the mood for sports, this place has about 8 large screen tv's, playing all the teams you can watch.

Florida and good Italian food are not usually mentioned in the same sentence. In the land of chain restaurants and big box stores the Sicilian Oven stands an exception. Rice balls made with arborio rice stuffed with meat. a Bowl of Rigatoni with pomadoro sauce with a dollop of fresh ricotta and pesto. Their lasagna was made with vegetables and eggplant instead of meat but it was good. Save room for desert. The waitress mentioned a special carrot cake that showed up warm, layers of cream cheese icing inside instead of on top and a scoop of ice cream. Only complaint was that they don't serve bread, I had to ask for it and it didn't show up until we were almost done with dinner but as our friends that were eating with us who are Florida locals mentioned, you don't normally want to eat Florida bread and after I did, i understood why they didn't bring out a bread basket. Other then that this place is worth a trip.

I dragged my boyfriend here last week because it's in our new hood and I heard the pizza was excellent....I am sorry i did because it does NOT come close to our current favorite in FLA, which is Goodfella's.. S.O. makes thin crust, which is the only kind we eat ....so we ordered thier large thin crust plain cheese to go. When we arrived to pick it up it was in an UNDER-SIZED box, looking more like a medium sized pizza with an Extra large sized price of 15.00 dollars... We were famished so we dug in once we were back in the car, hoping it was well worth it..it wasn't at all. there is nothing to rave about, just your average pizza, thats it!!! Crust was feh, cheese didn't taste high quality, the sauce was good though...Needless to say, we are not going back.

Love this place. Sometimes I like NY style pizza sometimes wood fired. This is my choice for wood fired. I always order the Hit Man with sausage, hot peppers . Spicy and awesome. I have yet to have a bad appetizer as well. Mussels, Sicilian stack, bruschetta......all delicious! Great friendly staff and all in all a well run excellent dining experience. On my short list.

Good salad, awesome spaghetti with meatball!!!!!!
(4)Sheila T.
Awesome italian food. The menu is pretty basic . Pastas and pizzas , apps and salads. The pizza is awesome and thin crusted if you like that. The spaghetti bolongese is some of the best I ever had. The salad that they bring to the the table in the little bowl is awesome. Definelty recommend this place for a casual bite to eat. And ask for Haley the server she is a friendly and attentive server.
(5)Jeannie T.
They redecorated and renamed this place. The atmosphere is more upscale with a mom and pop feel and the food is great! The staff is extremely friendly and service is outstanding!

Went to The Sicilian Oven as final stop on a day I visited five pizza shops. On my way there, I wondered if I could eat another slice of pizza. I tried their Sicilian Salad which won me over with the candied walnuts. The salad was refreshing and flavorful with a variety of veggies, shaved parmesan, and balsamic vinaigrette. It opened up my appetite to eat their amazing pizzas. I love thin crust pizzas. So when they brought out their Sicilian thick crust pizza I only took a small corner of a slice. My mistake. After that first bite I quickly reached up and grabbed the entire slice. Deeelicious! So thumbs up on the salad, thin crust, and thick crust pizza. I think they use olive oil on the crust because it had so much flavor. The service was attentive and great.

I attended a luncheon here a few weeks ago. I was definitely excited to try this restaurant because I thought it would be similar to Anthonys Coal Fire which I absolutely love. I don't know if my expectations were set to high but I left the luncheon feeling quite disappointed. We had a reservation for about twelve people on a Saturday afternoon. Our table was all set up for us and we were seated promptly. Our server took our drink order and I was surprised we waited a good ten to fifteen minutes for our drinks. Most of us just ordered iced tea, soda or water. When the reservation was made for a luncheon they failed to mention that the lunch menu is not offered on Saturdays. I have to say that although our dedicated server was sweet, she was probably not the best server for a group of twelve people. Since none of us had been here before we all had questions regarding the menu. This poor girl had to leave the table with every question to go "ask her manager ". This alone was extremely frustrating but even more disappointing was that her manager did not come over to help her out. I ordered the chicken cacciatore which is one of my favorite dishes. This was not on the dinner menu so I asked if they can prepare it for me since the restaurant was not busy at all. It had the usual peppers and onions but very little chicken. Shocker alert: this dish came with nothing. No salad, no bread and no side of pasta. I asked for a side of pasta and was told that would be an additional six DOLLARS. I ordered it thinking that for six dollars it would be large enough to take home leftovers. Wrong. My plate consisted of a small amount of spaghetti with the chicken cacciatore served over it. The chicken, peppers and onions were cooked perfectly but the sauce was lacking in flavor and was so watered-down it was tasteless. For what I wound up paying for this dish, I could have gone to a real Italian restaurant and ordered this as a complete meal. One that would include a side salad and pasta and maybe some garlic rolls. Some of the others in my group ordered pizza. The pizza did look good but not great. My girlfriend ordered the eggplant parmesan and she liked it a lot. But like me, she was disappointed her meal didn't come with some pasta or at least some bread. Our service was not very good. Our server had to be tracked down quite a few times to refill our drinks, replace a fork etc. None of the people in my party were impressed with neither the food or the service. A few people ordered dessert. But nothing memorable except that they couldn't believe how high the dessert prices were. I gave them two stars because parking was easy and our table was ready for us immediately. With so many other options in Coral Springs I can't think of one reason to return. I left hungry and highly disappointed.

I have never had such great Italian food in south Florida. I have been to several places and tried Sicilian oven for the first time and the food was amazing and the staff was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
(5)Richard S.
We have only been here twice and I can't wait to go back again! Their pizza with the fried eggplant bites is to die for! The waitress we had last Friday was so nice and she recommended a gelato with salted caramel and pretzel that we all shared and can honestly say we have never had something so good! Can't wait to go back!!!!

This place is great. You feel like your eating a 5 star meal for a 2 star price. Pizza is excellent, try the Captain. This was the old DiSalvo's. Nice and clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I love the curbside carryout.
(5)Megan K.
I had "The Fudhedaboutit" panetta and it was amazing!! We had the rice balls for started and those were great. It was 5 off us and we all have left overs. The mini cannolis for desert were awesome. I'll for sure be back!
(4)Nidia A.
This was my first time going here and I found them trough yelp and all the great reviews they had. My friend and I ordered the rice balls, mussels and their oven baked pizza. Each dish was delicious and filled with flavor. The rice balls was a great surprise and definetly my favor dish. This place is great for date night, family meals or just a solo meal. One of the best Italian cooking I've had. Will be going back in the near future.

Celebrated a birthday lunch at Sicilian Oven. Pizza and house salad were great. However, our server, DAWN, provided awesome service.

I can't believe I've not written up a review for Sicilian Oven yet! I tried this place a month or so ago, based on Yelp reviews, and it has become my go-to for Italian in SoFlo. First visit, I started off with the pizza, The Queen of Sicily. Amazing pizza! Everything was fresh and beautiful, and the balsamic drizzle just accented everything perfectly. Great pie, whether compared to local options, or even put up against NY or Chicago classics... Since then I've gone through several daily specials and the pasta, and everything has continued to be of the highest quality. I've not done the "stack" or the panettas yet, so I will just have to return. Service is impeccable, although I must confess I've sat at the bar every visit so far. Fast and friendly... Be sure to get the crostinis or a meatball with whatever you order! ETA: 9/12/14: the panettas with the new bread are amazing! But, the crostinis need to revert to the previous ones...
